Introduction

The annual sports days for KS1/2 students will be a celebration of sport and the enjoyment of physical activity.

The students will participate in a range of athletics activities whilst earning points for their house. Prizes will be awarded for the first three places and a certificate will be given for the fourth place. Points will be added to the Primary house point collection at the conclusion of the events.

Monday:

Year 3 and 4

Year 5 and 6

Students need to bring:

  • House coloured shirt - with no logo (or only small logo). Students have already been assigned to a house/colour and have been made aware of this. This shirt is desirable if you have them but not essential as we do have a few house coloured shirts in school that can be used by the students.
     

Colours and house names are:

Red – Kontiki 

Yellow -Endeavour

Green - Discovery

Blue – Calypso

 

  • PE shorts
  • Socks
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Cap
  •  Sun cream
  •  Water bottle
  • Rain jacket/jumper if appropriate
  • Students are not allowed to wear jewellery of any kind (rings, necklaces, watches or earrings)

Parents are very welcome to attend this event and support the teams. The event will be organised on Sports Field 1 (current Primary football/play area).

If there is rainy weather, the event will be cancelled. Parents will be informed promptly by email of any adjustments to this schedule.
