We are delighted to tell you about the results of class meetings this week and last week. First of all, in our previous class meeting, we discussed where we should put up the action board. The action board is a progress board which makes sure that everyone knows about the planned actions to make our school better and more fun. The Primary school voted to put it up on the corridor near the dining hall and so this has been done. This week in our class meetings we talked about if we should be able to speak our home languages at break times. Children voted in groups and there were 67 group votes for YES and 19 group votes for NO and many children said that playing and expressing themselves is easier in their home language. Every child from Year 1 to Year 6 took part in the meetings and vote.
There will be some new Action Teams starting soon too. So far we have a group of football pitch referees lead by Ryan in 5 Cobalt. Corin in 6 Copper has been organising a litter picking team to keep our playground clean. Jerry and Alex in Year 6 put forward an idea for a Rubik's cube group, for people who love Rubik's cubes to come together, play and share tips! We think it will be a good activity to do at break times. We hope these interest you and you are excited about it.
