As the internet is always changing, being able to keep up to date with your child’s internet use can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially if you feel that your child may know more about technology than you do. Safer Internet Day provides a brilliant and fun way to discuss and explore online safety with your child. The internet is a wonderful resources that offers many opportunities for young people to learn, connect and play when used safely and sensibly.
To coincide with this week, the Primary school will be holding special assemblies and activities in class. On Thursday 7th February we will hold a Primary Parents In Partnership run by Louise Russell about how to keep your child safe online. This will include ideas on conversation starters to have at home as well as how to discuss with young people the appropriate way to ask, give and receive online permissions.

The session will take place in the Dining room from 9am to 9.30 am on Thursday 7th February.
