Primary Peer Mentors

We would like to introduce the new Smart School Council and our communication team for Primary. It's different from the student council we had last year because the communication team will help make the school better using everyone's ideas. Every week there will be a class meeting in each class and the children can discuss an issue and decide what they want to happen. This week the question was about ideas on how we can all remember to hold our class meetings. The communication team will organise the results of the class meetings.

The communication team members will have all sorts of different roles though, such as action team developer, staff liaison, updating the progress board and writing information for the newsletter. Lastly, the action teams are an important part of the Smart School Council and we will be starting them soon! They will be the people who make the ideas happen! Anyone can be part of an action team to make the school an even better place.
We look forward to updating you with information of progress that the Smart School Council is making.
