International Day Secondary

Through the course of several Thursdays, students engaged with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: 13 – Climate Action, 14 – Life Below Water and 15 – Life on Land.

International Day 2020

Students have been gaining a deeper understanding of the specific targets associated with these goals. Students across all year groups have reflected on their part in effecting change and what they can do personally.

What climate action would you speak up for?

Students in Year 7 and 8 have been developing their public speaking skills by presenting 5 minutes speeches in groups of 3. Students in Years 9 through to 12 have been sharpening their debating skills by examining if sufficient progress has been made towards these goals.

Is enough being done?

With the Nord Anglia Education Global Challenge entirely orientated on SDGs 13, 14 and 15 and a very exciting project launching within school in the coming weeks our steps towards addressing sustainability issues have only just begun.
