Year 7 are doing a brilliant job at being Superstar Scientists at home by investigating, researching, observing and discussing results.
This time we have been
• Finding out what happens to cress seeds when they are left in the light and in the dark.
• Finding out what happens when liquid soap is added to a mixture of milk and food colouring.
• Comparing our fingerprints with our family members.
• Placing coins in soapy water and vinegar to compare which is the better cleaner.
David Aszkalos completed an additional challenge to find out what happens to the level of water in a glass of iced water once the ice has melted.
