Class of 2021 Graduation

On Saturday 29th May, our community came together on the school grounds to celebrate the Graduation of our very special Class of 2021. We were delighted to be able to hold the ceremony here in school, in a ventilated marquee and with appropriate social distance to ensure a safe, yet shared experience. It was a delight to see our graduating students returning for one last time to enjoy their ceremony with families and teachers. 

The sun shone, the flowers looked beautiful and our 61 graduates were presented with heartfelt applause which filled the marquee. We enjoyed a poignant speech from Mr Dyer on the theme of wisdom, and Mr Turner took us through a journey of quotes on optimism - perfectly capturing the spirit of our graduating class after making their way through a year of uncertainty. Suju Son from Year 11 played the piano for us on stage and we received a message of congratulation from HM Ambassador to Hungary, His Excellency Mr Paul Fox. 

Our outgoing Head Students then made a professional, yet warm and entertaining final speech in which they wove together some of the colourful threads running through their BISB experience. Thank you to Shreya, Mahmoud, Zahra and Swayam for this excellent speech and for their service to BISB.

Following our ceremony, we shared a drink and some canapes on our BIStro terrace. The graduates had a chance to pose for family photos and say fond farewells to their teachers. It was wonderful to welcome our BISB families back to campus and especially for such a significant celebration. 

Our congratulations, once again, to the Class of 2021 and we wish them every success on results day and in the future.
