Dóra started her teaching career in Budapest as a History of Art teacher in 2010. After receiving her TEFL certification in 2014, she moved to Suzhou in China and started teaching English as a Second Language at a University. After two years in Suzhou, she moved to Bengbu where she taught Business English for another two years. During her 4 years in China, in addition to teaching, Dóra volunteered at local schools and institutions and gained a lot of experience working with students from different age groups.
Dóra is committed to creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for her students where they can develop mentally, emotionally and socially. She uses different kinds of methods such as project-based learning and hands-on classroom activities to encourage and motivate her students to be ambitious and persistent when facing new challenges.
In her spare time, Dóra likes to go for a run on Margaret Island and do yoga. She also likes to paint and visit different art exhibitions.
