Year 5

The Year 5 students had to combine Math, English and technology skills this week as they took on a group challenge related to their Holiday Show topic for IPC. Each group has become travel agents and have had to plan different vacations for a family of two adults and two children for two different budgets. They were given $2,500 for their economy budget and $10,000 for a slightly more luxurious trip. Using their research skills, the groups have explored a variety of booking sites, finding travel, accommodation and activities before preparing a presentation to the other groups. The winning group from each class will go head-to-head tomorrow in a whole year group activity where the winning team will get VIP treatment at our beach party.

Year 6

Year 6 have been preparing diligently for their upcoming SATs, revising genres of non-fiction writing and taking mock math tests to prepare them fully. We all know that they will try their best and achieve great results, we're wishing them the best of luck for next week!
