Year 1

This week in Math we have been exploring 3D shapes and describing their properties using words such as corners, edges, vertices and faces. In Literacy we created news reports and interviewed eye witnesses from the scene of an exciting story! This was linked to our current class book, The Snail and The Whale by Julia Donaldson. Mrs. Curtis came to join us and we loved showing her our wonderful work! We then presented our reports to the class.

Year 2

Action! The Terrific Tigers are budgeting for a movie. They are using money to add different amounts.

The Smart Seals have been investigating different ways to communicate emotions in a no-verbal way.  We looked at famous pieces of art and analyzed the colors and shapes used to communicate different emotions.  We then picked an emotion and created our own artwork based around it.
