Lower School - Helping to Create Good Citizens 07 September 2019 During the first weeks of school, students and teachers are developing their classroom cultures of thinking and learning as we establish our routines for sharing and working together. The NBPS Honor Code guides our daily interactions as we develop the citizenship of our students. Our first Good Citizens were named this week. The Good Citizen award is given most Fridays to a student that the homeroom teacher feels has been an exceptional model of the Honor Code during that week. A teacher can name a Good Citizen for specific actions or for overall excellent citizenship. Good Citizens can wear their pin for the entire school week following so students and teachers can recognize and appreciate their excellent example to others.
