Fifth Grade Begins Dare Program

18 January 2020

This month, 5th Grade students have started the D.A.R.E. Keepin’ it REAL program. The program is taught by Coconut Creek Police Officer Cooke. In this ten-week program, lessons build upon each other and allow students to develop their own responses to real life situations. Students will develop skills which include self-awareness and management, responsible decision making, understanding others, relationship and communication skills, and handling responsibilities and challenges. D.A.R.E. stands for Define, Assess, Respond, and Evaluate. We are thankful to have Officer Cooke here on campus daily to mentor our Fifth Graders through this course of study.
