Lower School Fine Arts Happenings
27 September 2020
Our Lower School has been overflowing with arts learning since the beginning of our new school year. There is such great art-making happening, both face-to-face and virtually, so we wanted to acknowledge the hard work of both students and Lower School Fine Arts Teachers.
In Ms. MacDonald’s music class, our Pre-K 3 students are working on clapping to the steady beat while Ms. Wadsworth’s and Mr. Berger’s students are singing and playing their instruments. It has brought great joy to hear music happening in the halls of the lower school. Ms. McGehee is keeping her drama students very active with pantomimes in theatre classes and rehearsals for the first ever Virtual Lower School Production, Super Happy Awesome News, have begun. Ms. Vaszily’s PK-5 art classes are painting and adorning our lower school hallways while Ms. Alexander’s creative movement classes are challenging our students to get up and move with purpose and creativity. Our Fine Arts faculty enjoy sharing their love of their craft with your children everyday.
