Joan McGettigan Profile

Joan McGettigan

Director, Educational and Information Technology

Dr. Joan McGettigan is in her fifth year as the Director of Educational and Information Technology.

Dr. Joan McGettigan is in her fifth year as the Director of Educational and Information Technology at North Broward Preparatory School, a private school of about 1,400 students PreK-12th grades.

She has a masters degree in Educational Technology from Columbia University, a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Tulane and a Doctorate in Instructional Leadership from Western Connecticut State University.

Dr. McGettigan has presented at ISTE (International Society of Technology in Education), FETC (Florida Educational Technology Conference), FCIS (Florida Council of Independent Schools) and multiple schools and districts across Florida. She is an avid techie and a mother of 11th grade twins.
