After graduating from university, I have worked consistently with children of all ages. I have a degree in Paediatric Nursing, which I put to good use for ten years in the UK working in a very busy Childrens Hospital. In 2015 my husband was offered a teaching position here in Guangzhou to work at BSG, so as I was seeking a new challenge at that time, I decided to join him.
Within a short time I was very excited to find a position working as a TA at BSG myself. This allowed me to gain valuable experience from some amazing teachers. I have always had a passion for teaching Early Years children and strongly believe in their right to learn. I love spending time with the children, encouraging them and nurturing their curiosity whilst making sure they are playing and having fun. I am interested in child development, and my background as a Paediatric Nurse also ensures I will be observing the children’s health and wellbeing while they are in my care.
I am interested in many things, but particularly sewing and cooking at home. I have a granddaughter who is the apple of my eye, and I like to visit her when possible. My family is spread all across the globe, but still very important to me, and when we are together we enjoy travelling to new places.
