Mandarin Teacher

I firstly obtained a degree in Econo-mathematics from Wuppertal University in Germany, during which time I also improved my fluency in the German language. Following that I spent nearly 2 years living in the UK before relocating to my home country China.

Upon finishing my Master degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at Sun Yat-Sen University, China, I joined BSG in 2016. This year has been my fourth year, and my contribution to BSG has progressed from a class TA, to a TA of the Mandarin department and to a Chinese teacher. Thanks to BSG’s Continual Professional Development scheme, I even achieved my PGCE qualification last year.

I have benefited from a lifelong love for learning, and I would very much like to help my pupils to develop their love for learning through teaching. It has always been very rewarding for me to witness pupils’ development and progress in study and personal skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling and spending quality time with my family. Every summer we visit the UK for sightseeing and to see family and friends, taking the opportunity to immerse ourselves in British culture which is always interesting and fun.
