I love teaching Internationally. I have taught in several countries in Asia including Japan, Thailand, China and I have also taught in Italy. When I finished university in the UK, I decided I wanted to work abroad so I got a job in Japan as an English language teacher. There I developed the traveling bug and the love of teaching children, so I decided to become a primary school teacher.
I returned to England to do my PGCE and then went on to become a Primary and Early Years teacher in Wiltshire, England, for five years. I liked my job but Asia was calling me back, so I decided to move to Thailand to be an International primary school teacher there. After completing my two-year contract I was ready to explore China - my next adventure! I have now been here for almost five years and I have been on an incredible journey at BSG.
After two years of being a reception teacher here I decided to follow my dream and finally take the plunge and become a music teacher! Music has always been my passion and so I decided to finally put my music degree to good use and use my knowledge and skills. I have not looked back. I am now in my third year as a music teacher and I could not be happier. I now conduct the school orchestra, direct my very own choir, I teach music three to twelve year olds and I teach one hundred and fifty students how to play the trumpet! we have so much fun! Being a music teacher has also sparked my passion again and I now play my trumpet in a soul and funk band and sing in an Irish band and a harmony group. BSG provided this opportunity for me and I will also be grateful for that.
