Having now taught for seven years, it was been an ambition of mine to return to Key Stage 1, the place I originally discovered my passion for teaching. I am therefore absolutely thrilled to be in the Year 1 team this year alongside some other fantastic practitioners.
As a child I grew up moving from country to country due to my father’s profession. It was during this time that I knew that I wanted to work abroad in whichever career I later found myself. After six years of teaching, I felt it was time to realise a dream and teach abroad. BSG is a thriving school with excellent facilities and an ambition to achieve success; all of which made the decision to move to Guangzhou an easy one.
I am here with my wonderful Fiancé, Penny, who will be teaching Art at the BSG. In my spare time, I have many interests, especially those involving technology, somewhat inspired by my love of fantasy and Science Fiction books and films. I also enjoy the comradery and competitiveness found in team sports and thus am a keen rugby and football player.
