Geography & History Teacher

After completing my PGCE at Liverpool Hope University, I started teaching in the amazing city of Liverpool, England. I began teaching in an incredible International School, during my time at this school I gained a range of experience in teaching Geography and History to Key Stage 3, GCSE and IB level students, while also having the responsibility of Literacy and Numeracy for my faculty. After three great years, I decided I wanted to move overseas. I spent one year teaching and developing the international curriculum for a school in Beijing.

I am thoroughly looking forward to starting a new challenge at The British School of Guangzhou, having already spent one year in China I am intrigued to continue learning more about its culture. I am looking forward to continuing my own professional development within such an exciting and dynamic school environment.

When not in school I like to explore new cultures and places when and wherever possible. I enjoy spending time and socialising with family and friends. I like to attend the gym to help me relax and keep fit. I am a big sports fan and enjoy GAA football and rugby.
