Innovator at a Highly Selective School
With interests ranging from programming and technology to marketing and business, Olivia's Village School experience has truly been an exploration of her interests. From interning in marketing at a local start-up to winning a national competition for designing a speech-coaching app using artificial intelligence, Olivia has integrated all the elements of STEAM learning into everything she takes on. Her initiative and drive earned her a well-deserved place at Trinity University, a highly selective school that accepts just 34% of applicants and is ranked among the top National Liberal Arts Colleges.

Studying Material Science at Stanford
Having been at Village since elementary school, Divyesh remembers first being exposed to the exciting world of science by his 2nd grade teacher. His passion was further developed in middle school by several teachers who encouraged him to enter science competitions to apply his studies to real-world problems. In high school, Divyesh sought out endeavours that challenged him to innovate solutions through science and technology. With innovation and creative problem-solving threaded through all his years at Village, Divyesh was accepted to Stanford University, where he plans to study material science so he can develop materials that have a massive impact on how we build buildings and create energy in the future.
Entrepreneur at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business
Among the first graduates of Village’s Entrepreneurship Diploma Program, Nicole had a fully-functioning business by the time she graduated from high school. Through the program’s capstone project, she built her company Bread and Salt, and aspires to continue increasing distribution of her homemade breads. With her impressive initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, Nicole was accepted into The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, ranked #5 in the nation by the U.S. News & World Report.
Practicing Medicine through a B.S./D.O. Program
What began as a young 4th grader's love for biology evolved into an opportunity to practice medicine through an elite program. Throughout his time at Village, Sharan found opportunities to learn more about the medical field. A pivotal internship with Methodist Hospital during his sophomore year confirmed Sharan's desire to pursue medicine, and as a senior, he was accepted into Nova Southeastern University's highly competitive B.S./D.O. Program, on track to graduate and practice medicine in seven years.
Football Recruit for the Texas Longhorns
Transferring into Village his senior year, Austin wasted no time in getting involved. As student body president and member of Hype House, he developed leadership skills and an enthusiastic outlook that carried into his commitment to athletics. This student-athlete poured hard work into playing basketball and football while always prioritizing his academics. Austin was noticed by recruiters and an offer was extended for him to continue his education at The University of Texas at Austin, playing for the Texas Longhorns football team.
Fashionista at a Top Design School
With a love for all things fashion, Hajra tailored her Village School experience to fit her interests. From an internship with a local designer that landed her at Paris Fashion Week to her capstone project on a solution for customizable clothing, this fashionista's relevant high school experiences are making her dreams a reality, as she now attends Parsons The New School in NYC, ranked one of the top schools for fashion design in the world!
High-Achieving Twins at a Top Research School
While Village twins Puneetha and Pavithr have a lot in common, they each tailored their high school experience to fit their individual interests. Pavithr pursued science and math through competitive academic teams and clubs, while Puneetha's interest in medicine prompted her involvement in humanitarian efforts and internships. Despite their different high school trajectories, Puneetha’s hopes of studying medical research and Pavithr’s plan to study biology and become a sports surgeon will both be pursued at Rice University, as the twins are continuing their education together at this top school, ranked 13 in the US and known for excellence in research.
Doing it all at UTDallas: Engineering, Volleyball & Music
While some assume getting involved in many activities means spreading yourself thin, the opposite was true for Kennedy. She pursued excellence in all she took on. Throughout her time at Village, she was a talented musician, playing in various bands and even producing her own album. Kennedy also played volleyball and basketball at the varsity level and was recruited to play volleyball at UTDallas. There, in addition to her athletic pursuits, she is studying mechanical engineering and keeping her passion for music alive, writing songs in any spare time she can find.
