It has been another very successful year in the Art and Design and Media Studies Departments at The International School of Moscow. The quality of work produced by our students has been truly exceptional, which resulted in two very successful virtual exhibitions.
On Wednesday, May 27th, we held ISM's very first virtual exhibition of online work produced by our Media students in Years 11, 12, and 13. The event was attended by parents, students, and some visitors from the publishing industry in the UK. This was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a years' worth of hard work and dedication of our Media students.
Created with the help of our Media Prefects, our viewers left amazed at the resemblance of a real exhibition.
Overall, we are delighted that everyone who attended our exhibition had a pleasant experience, we have been told that “The bar has well and truly been set” for next years' students. This feedback gives our students more motivation to continue their Media Studies with the dedication and hard work that they have demonstrated throughout this academic year.

On Thursday, June 11th, we held our first Virtual Art Exhibition and were joined by the Music Department to host a live private viewing of all of our A-Level and GCSE students’ work. The evening was a huge success, with students’ artwork being highly praised by our school community and beyond.
It has been our privilege to teach such dedicated and talented students this year. The bar has been raised yet again, and I am sure that our younger students will take great inspiration from the work they have seen. The year has not been without its challenges, and it has only been through the combined effort of students and staff that together we are again able to showcase such wonderful, thought-provoking and skilful artwork.
