On the 14th and 15th of June, students at Krylatskoe Lower Campus took part in exciting Sports Day events.

The occasion involved students from the whole campus from Nursery to Year 4. In traditional fashion, the students competed in their houses and encouraged their peers from the sidelines as they gave it their absolute all in an effort to get points on the board.

Whilst all of our students put in 110% effort, only one house from each year group were crowned winners and went home with a gold medal. The Saxons were the dominant force in this year's festivities, achieving victory in Nursery, Year 2 and Year 3. The Vikings made a valiant effort, with victories in two year groups - namely Year 1 and Year 4. The Romans wrote themselves into the history books by securing a victory in Reception. Whilst the Normans were not crowned champions in any of their Sports Day events, they came very close on numerous occasions and were ultimately unlucky on the day.

It is worth recognising that our Sports Day events were held on some of the hottest days of the year so far. Thus, our students demonstrated great courage and resilience to compete at their maximum in the heat. We are very proud of everyone involved, from the students to staff members behind the scenes that made it possible. We hope that next year will be even bigger and better than this year.
