The Great Outdoors provides opportunities to develop positive relationships with the environment, others and ourselves through interaction with the natural world.

Through the positive relationships with the nature, individuals' emotional and physical wellbeing are catered for and provides positive feelings toward the outdoors.

The opportunities to explore the outdoors are endless.

Here in Rosinka, outdoor education engages students in practical and active learning experiences in natural environments beyond the school classroom. In these environments, students develop the skills and understandings to move safely and competently while valuing a positive relationship with natural environments and promoting the importance of caring for the world around them.

As we draw close to the Summer holidays, it is crucial to keep encouraging our students and families to enjoy the local surroundings and make use of the facilities, which will allow for opportunities to explore, investigate and most importantly, have fun!

Some examples of what you could do with your child include;

  • Exploring the Rosinka forest
  • Climbing some trees
  • Going for a bike ride
  • Playing hide and seek
  • Visiting the lake
  • Building sandcastles on the beach

The opportunities to explore the outdoors are endless. We are sure that any student would enjoy spending time adventuring and learning more about the natural world around us.
