The Official DCIS Swimming Gala for Reception to Year 11 kicks off on 9th May and lasts until 13th May.

Please note: Nursery will have a separate gala on 2nd June.

The Swimming Galas are an opportunity for you to watch, encourage and cheer on your child in the pool. After the public holiday we will send out the full event and race order details for you to view and print off if you require.

All pupils participate with the aim to encourage then to have fun and experience swimming in a variety of races.

Nursery classes through to Year 2 swim in their classes. This year, for the first time, there will be a separate gala for Years 1 & 2 Dover Fins.

Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 will be competing for house points. There will be a cup for the house gaining the most points from each year group.

Secondary pupils have been learning to play the ever popular game of Water polo for the past term. All Year 7 -11 pupils have been assigned to a team and will be playing matches against each other.

  • Times published are approximate. No session will start earlier than published.
  • Please arrive & enter the pool via Gate 2.
  • No hot drinks or food must be brought into the pool area.
  • All photography will be taken by DCIS so we ask that parents DO NOT TAKE ANY PHOTOGRAPHS. This is in accordance with Child Protection Regulations for Nord Anglia. DCIS will then upload photographs for you to view, save & print as required.
  • Once your children's classes have completed their swimming events please leave the pool area to allow the next group of parents in.
  • This year the PE Department will be assisted at the pool by several DCIS Fins Swim Team Secondary students. This will allow all parents to watch and enjoy what is happening in the pool.
  • In the event of poor weather (eg rain/thunder) we will endeavour to inform you. We aim to organise a new time & date for the following week.
  • The fixtures are also available for download by clicking the button below.
  • NOTE: The Nursery gala will be held on Thursday 2nd June
