Just because the school day is over doesn't mean that the learning stops! On Monday 5th September, teachers from the Secondary School were involved in a 'Challenge Marketplace'.

At the beginning of term, the Secondary School teachers were set the challenge the task of creating a challenging activity to commence the term. Challenge is a core part of our teaching and learning philosophy, alongside effective modelling, clear explanation, insightful questioning and valuable feedback.

On Monday, teachers were invited to come and share their ideas in a marketplace setting; room 100 and room 101 were transformed in to a hub of activity as teachers shared ideas and swapped tips for how to challenge every single student in each one of our classes.

We look forward to having subsequent Challenge Marketplaces where our talented teaching staff can share their knowledge of learning strategies and methodologies.
