On Tuesday 6th September, after just two weeks of training, the DCIS 12 & Under Rugby team took part in their first round of matches for this years Sevens Competition.

It was an impressive start by the boys in their first game against Dulwich College's 2nd Team. Some excellent defensive work from the team and some electric pace in attack meant the score ended 2 tries all.

The second game of the afternoon was against Australian International School's 2nd Team, in which the boys started extremely well building a 2 tries to 1 lead at half time. Unfortunately with the boys defence tiring and some excellent individual skill from the opposition, the game ended 4 tries to 2 against us.

Overall the boys played exceptionally well and impressed everyone watching with their effort and determination. We are really proud of everyone involved and would like to thank all the parents that came to watch.
