It was incredibly close and their toughest game yet, but they fought to the very end and never gave up! They came out of a very evenly matched first quarter with a 2-2 draw, but after a difficult second quarter they were down 2-4. Showing their determination to win, the girls persevered and worked even harder to come back to and tie the third quarter 4-4. It was incredibly close and tense going into the final quarter but the girls stepped it up to another level, to which ICS just couldn’t keep up! The girls were fantastic and brought home a very impressive 8 - 5 win!
Well done to all the girls for their hard work and determination this season! They have had some very impressive games, winning all but one! I’m incredibly proud of how far they have all come and how much they have all improved. They’ve shown excellent team spirit, energy and of course, fantastic basketball skills.
Well done girls! I can’t wait for the next season!
