This morning, our Year 5 children were lucky enough to visit AP2’s Science department. They learnt about how they can test for hydrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen, and then took part in the dissection of a pig’s heart and lungs! A fabulous morning was had by all. Many thanks to Ms Jackson, Ms Smith and Mr Lambert for inviting us and delivering such exciting lessons. The children are now extremely excited for what’s in store for them in just over a year’s time!
Some of the children’s thoughts:
Jennifer- “It was such a fun, interesting morning and I want to do it all over again!”
Tri- “I had a great morning and I can’t wait to start AP2 now!”
Khang- “I loved learning about the different gases and how we can test for them. It was so much fun!”
