Global Campus Creative Writing Competition

As we head towards Christmas, students at the British School of Guangzhou are proud to be taking part in the prestigious Nord Anglia Education 'Global Campus Creative Writing Competition'.

  • GC Creative Writing 2016

The competition will run for three age groups:

  • Under-8s: Our youngest children will have the opportunity to contribute to a whole class piece with the theme of ‘Families'.

  • Aged 8-14: Students will have the opportunity to write their own piece with the theme of 'Fan Fiction’.

  • Aged 14 to 18: Our older students are invited to submit one of their best pieces of writing from this year.

There will be a number of prizes up for grabs and the winning entries from each age group will be catapulted into the finals of a global competition, where they will be judged by a famous author against pieces written by students from 43 other top international schools worldwide. Teachers are currently busy preparing the children for this event, which will close on Friday, 2nd December. Winners from our in-school competition will be announced before Christmas, before they are sent off for entry into the global finals.

Students can ask their teachers for any information about taking part in the competition.

We look forward to celebrating our winners with you later this term. Good luck to all!
