Welcome to the Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme at The British School of Guangzhou. Here you can discover our unique music, dance and drama curriculum, designed in collaboration with The Juilliard School, New York.
The Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme has been designed to give students a deep engagement with performing arts - promoting cultural literacy, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.
Music is an important part of school life at BSG. We believe that learning music is essential in allowing students to express themselves, and we strive to develop students’ creativity by providing a balanced and well-defined program of composing, performing, and listening activities that are inclusive to all of our students.
The Dance curriculum with Juilliard focuses on works examining dance from various cultures, history, expressions of human emotion, and literature. Each category takes an iconic work; from Marius Petipa’s ballet, The Sleeping Beauty, to flamenco from southern Spain with influences from Indian and Moorish cultures.
Watch music and performing arts in action and discover the many ways we are helping prepare students for the world stage.
