BA(hons), PGCE
I studied French, Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Nottingham. During this time, I was fortunate enough to study and work in places such as Paris, Madrid and São Paulo, finally graduating with distinctions in both spoken Spanish and Portuguese. Following my degree, I took a scholarship to study Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University. Professionally, I am a Cambridge CELTA-trained teacher and have completed a PGCE in French and Spanish. This has given me the fortune of teaching a diverse range of students, from Year 1 through Year 13.
Having grown up in a bilingual household and studying languages from a young age, I have always held a keen interest in foreign cinema. A languages degree allowed me to study a diverse range of courses, spanning history, politics, cinema and art, as well as the compulsory language and grammar components. Furthermore, sport has always been a passion of mine, playing football competitively for as long as I can remember.
