I took a short career break of 2 years where I studied towards a second degree in Mathematics. For the last 4 years, I have been working in London as Head of Mathematics at a very large college. During my time there, I delivered several whole college sessions on the teaching of Mathematics as well as wider CPD courses for teachers. I have also worked as a senior examiner at GCSE level.
I decided to move to China in order to experience a new culture and hopefully travel to the surrounding countries whilst I am here. Several colleagues made very positive comments about BSG and it seemed an opportunity that was too good to ignore.
I consider myself a very sporty person with football being my primary passion. As a proud Mancunian, I am an avid follower of Manchester United FC but I’m looking forward to watching Guangzhou Evergrande FC and also playing for a local team whilst in Guangzhou. I have played Ice Hockey for Manchester University in UK National competitions. I’ve recently taken up photography and I’m hoping to travel to some scenic destinations to explore this whilst in China; such as Zhangjiajie national park.
