Head of Art

BA(hons), PGCE

I graduated from Wimbledon School of Art and completed my PGCE at the Institute of Education, London. I subsequently worked mostly in London schools and have also worked abroad in bustling Mexico City.

Aside from leading successful art and curriculum teams, my extensive career has also allowed me to lead pastoral and outdoor education,as well as training other teachers.

At BSG, I wish to help my students to think like artists, exploring the visual world around them and using their skills and talents to produce work of great personal value that represents their thoughts and feelings.

I’ve been impressed by the awe inspiring modern architecture in the centre of Guangzhou, as well as the quaintness of its quieter little lanes and very much look forward to learning more about Chinese art and culture through my future travels here.
