On Friday 23rd September 2016 The British International School, Budapest celebrated the opening of its newly renovated and expanded campus! These new facilities make BISB one of the most modern and advanced schools in the capital.
BISB students have once again achieved strong results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and have progressed to prestigious universities worldwide.
Children from the Early Years Centre went on a field trip to the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, affectionately known by them as “The Lion Bridge”.
For a full report on this trip, the creating of the mascots, the measuring of the bridge, the creation of an eBook about ‘Our Budapest’ and the reflection upon their experiences, read more below.
The Tanzania Expedition just keeps getting bigger and better. This year we had the privilege of accompanying 15 amazing young people to Africa to work and build at a local village and school in Kitefu. Our students truly helped make a transformation in other people's lives.
Our principal, Richard Dyer, was recently quoted in the British International School Magazine in an article on developing student leadership in international schools. A good example of BISB thought leadership!
