Welcome back to what we hope will be an exciting year ahead. We offer students in Years 2 and above the option of taking private music lessons at school.
This year BISB is proud to finally present a production of R.C Sherriff’s World War I play, Journey’s End which was due to be performed in 2021. Unfortunately, the show was postponed because of COVID restrictions at the time.
This week saw BISB's annual sports days for our Primary Years. Students have had three days of inter-house sports full of excellent performances, teamwork, drama and sportsmanship.
Last week was BISB’s House Week 3 and there were a variety of inter-house competitions that students could participate in including sports such as basketball, kick rounders and a scavenger hunt. Overall, there were many students involved in the House Week, especially the Haribo Hunt.
Four BISB students managed to climb the height of Africa’s tallest mountain on Saturday morning last week to raise money for Kiwawa Secondary School in Tanzania.
Two of our Year 9 students tell us about some of their experiences from their Residential Trip to Sopron, from exploring the city, visiting museums and hiking in the surrounding area.
Music lessons have all sorts of benefits for the brain. From increased neural blood flow to increased brain plasticity and gaining the ability to multitask.
Last week, our own mini chefs celebrated the end of their Co-curricular Activity (CCA) with some delicious waffles and fluffy crumpets, decorated with cream, syrup, strawberries, bananas and some chocolate chips.
