Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our trip is drawing very close ! Today the power point presentation below "2019 Year 9 Residential PPT" was delivered to students in PSHE. It outlines the main rules and information for our trip. It is important that these rules are followed for the safety and enjoyment of everyone on the trip.
Some students are already trying to bend the rules so I would encourage you to go over this with your child. For example, kettles will be removed from any room and students should NOT bring their own kettle for ‘cooking’ dry noodles. It is an unnecessary added weight, a safety hazard, and it will be confiscated. I would also like to add that it is preferred students do not bring aerosol spray cans (deodorant etc.) as this can affect people with asthma/breathing problems.
I would like all students to bring in their travel documents (passports, travel cards, visas, yellow paper, - if unsure BRING EVERYTHING) to their form tutor by Friday please. This will save some time and stress at 3.30am on Monday.
Any questions please do email me, otherwise I will see you at the reception of the school by 3.30am on Monday.
Looking forward to the adventure!
