A Landmark Visit: NAE CEO Mr. Andrew Fitzmaurice Inspires BSB Shunyi!

We were honoured to welcome Mr. Andrew Fitzmaurice, Chief Executive Officer of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), to The British School of Beijing, Shunyi! He was joined by Mr. Stuart White, Managing Director of NAE China; Mrs. Jian Tang, Chair of China Bilingual Schools for NAE; and Mrs. Michelle Zhang, Regional HR & Administration Director, China.

The day began with a warm welcome from our student ambassadors. Year 13 student John Sun proudly introduced our student-led newspaper The Watcher, showcasing the innovation and achievements of our learners.

Throughout his visit, Mr. Fitzmaurice engaged in meaningful conversations with our PTA and parent representatives, listening to their voice and insights. Along a vibrant campus tour, he connected with our passionate teachers and students, who shared inspiring stories from their classrooms and the incredible learning happening every day at BSB Shunyi.

In his meeting with Principal Bevan Graham, they explored BSB’s strategic direction and shared a bold future vision, reaffirming our commitment to becoming the world’s leading international school. It was a day that truly encapsulates our proud and exciting journey ahead with Nord Anglia.
