We would like to congratulate our GCSE Art students on another fantastic set of results this year. The students achieved 100% level 7-5, the equivalent of A*-C grades and five students achieved a level 7-9, the equivalent of an A-A*.
In addition, three of those students achieved the highest academic achievement, a level 9. We congratulate: Andy Yufeng Wang, Cathy Tian Yue Gao and Jenny Fu on their incredible achievement.
The GCSE Art course is a rigorous academic Art program set to challenge our students in both concept and skill. They work in a variety of media including, but not limited to: acrylic, oil, water colour, gouache, charcoal, graphite, pastel, clay, modroc, wire, photography and animation. It is a wonderful foundation for IB and A level Art, which provides the necessary research and critical thinking skills for tertiary study.
