For December’s “Student of the Month”, the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department has selected our student Maria Vassen. Maria is currently in Year 11 studying IGCSE German and Spanish and a student at BSB since 2017.
Her success story is easily explained: Not only is she always polite and helpful but also ambitious, punctual, diligent and hard-working. In addition, she constantly enriches the lessons with constructive ideas and thoughts and loves to read aloud.
Since she is currently doing three mitigation ASAs, she will again contribute to her wider PE activities afterwards.

The British School of Beijing recently hosted BritMUN 2025, a Model United Nations (MUN) event that highlights the exceptional organisational and leadership skills of our students. This year's conference was a remarkable success, attracting student delegates from many different schools across Beijing, including the British School of Beijing, the International School of Beijing, Dulwich College Beijing, and Beijing World Youth Academy.
