Secondary Parents Coffee Morning - Sep 2021

Secondary Parents Coffee Morning - Sep 2021 Video

After a long stretch of time where parents could not enter our campus due to restrictions, we were delighted to welcome our Secondary school parents to join our Parents Coffee Morning last week! These were parents who have pre-registered and met the health and safety requirements set by the local authorities.

Parents were able to meet our academic leaders face to face, ask questions, raise concerns and get to know other BSB parents too!

We really want to emphasise that communication is welcomed in our community. If you didn't have a chance to attend this time, we hope we will get the opportunity to meet you soon.

Thank you again for everybody who came along. We hope to see you all again later this term!

Please see below for some of the key points discussed.

  • We outlined our expectations for students to be dressed for success.
  • The benefits of a cutting-edge pedagogy.
  • The importance of critical thinking and independence.
  • The importance of ensuring student wellbeing through robust pastoral support.
  • The use of data to inform pupil progress.
  • Strategies for ensuing all students are challenged.
  • The tightening up of school rules.
  • Future outreach opportunities.
