Dear Y7 Parents & Guardians,

We are pleased to invite you to the first BSB Global Perspectives (GP) exhibition. Global Perspectives course aims to develop students’ critical thinking and problem-solving In GP lessons Year 7 students have been exploring the inquiry question “What Makes Us Human?”. They have been working hard on their presentations using a variety of media and will share their findings with the broader school community at this event.

Date: Tuesday 26^th Oct, 8:50am – 9:35am

Location: The Main Foyer, BSB Shunyi

Hosted by: Mr. Bevan Graham (Head of Secondary), Mr Voicu Mihnea Simandan (Psychology Teacher & Global Perspectives Lead)

Due to regulations, please note the following important points:

Parents are only allowed to enter between 8:30am – 8:50am

Only parents of current BSB Shunyi students are allowed to attend
Everyone is requested to please wear a face mask at all times
Maximum of two people per family will be allowed
As per the local authorities, for the health and safety of our students, anyone who have been out of Beijing in the past 14 days are not encouraged to attend. Thank you for your understanding

Update sent to parents on 25 October

Dear parents,

Thank you for registering for The Year 7 Global Perspectives Exhibition Event originally scheduled for tomorrow, the 26th of October 2021 @830am - 9:35am.

Unfortunately, due to the recent spike in cases in China & Beijing, the local education authorities have decided that schools are no longer able to have parents on campus. As such, we regrettably have to cancel the face-to-face event. Year 7 students will still be able to exhibit their work tomorrow for staff, with Mr Bevan Graham (Head of secondary) and Mr Voicu Simandan (Global Perspective Lead) leading the event.

Therefore, we would like to invite all registered parents to view live tomorrow's exhibition event through our WeChat Channel and selected students' work through social medias.
