Anna has a life-long interest in education and has have always pursued new challenges while striving to develop her current skills. She joined BSB Shunyi in August 2015.
After she received her BA in Philology in 2008, Anna studied for one more year specialising in Translation and training to be an English teacher. After that, she taught English as a foreign language to children, teenagers and adults. She obtained a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge before moving to Beijing in 2011. Anna then worked as an EFL teacher in an English training school in west Beijing for two years where she was promoted to the position of Training Manager. In this position, she was responsible for training new foreign teachers as well as maintaining their teaching quality throughout the academic term. In 2015, she completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) with the University of Nottingham.
Anna is very passionate about teaching and always do her best to inspire her students to learn and fulfil their potential. BSB Shunyi is a fantastic school and she is extremely proud to be a part of the team.
Anna has have lived in Beijing since 2011 and is fascinated by Chinese language and culture. She enjoys learning foreign languages and meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds. She also enjoys travelling to different countries and learning about their history and traditions. She loves cooking and is always on the lookout for new recipes that she can add to her repertoire.
