Elly graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and since then she has been a Math teacher in both Singapore and China for more than 7 years.
Elly encourage learning by using a number of different hands-on activities and various forms of technology. By incorporating class discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning, she is able to promote a highly interactive class atmosphere. She has great passion in teaching and is delighted to join BSB Shunyi in 2022.
Having grown up in Singapore for almost all of my life, she vividly recalls herself being one of the three recipients of the ‘Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge Award’ in her secondary school. Since then, Maths become Elly's passion, she also pride herself for being the President of Math Society Club in my Junior College years, our Math team worked tirelessly on solving challenging Math problems. In her free time, she loves playing basketball, jogging, reading and cooking.
