Secondary Assembly

Our Head Students, Rolan and George, ably supported by Bevis, Go, James and Teppei, planned, organised and ran the Secondary School assemblies this week.  Their message was clear. “Use English in school when you can because this not only helps the students to build their confidence in the use of the language, but it also ensures that no one feels left out.”  As an international school with multiple home languages, English is our common language and the only language all our teachers speak.  It was wonderful to see our confident 6th formers weave in humour, a bit of drama and quiz for audience participation, as our younger students courageously share their experiences of learning English.  Together they conveyed a compelling message. Congratulations to these six students who stepped out of their comfort zones to help shape the future of our student community.
