Year 6 Update

Year 6 have been busy this week, grabbing any spare second in their days to decorate the Year 6 doors up on Hillside.

We have chosen the theme of ‘The Eleventh Hour’ by Graeme Base, which was our core text at the beginning of Term 2.2. The book is an amazing read, but holds many, many more secrets than just the story of the missing feast. The children have decided to use all their coding and secret message skills to conceal hidden messages within their doors. Every child has had input in each door… if coordinating 101 children to create the doors wasn’t enough, we set the challenge for the rest of the school to solve the codes and find the 111 hidden mice within each door.
