Several of our year 3 students took part in a storytelling competition today, hosted by the Librarian, Mr. David, as part of our book week celebrations. They confidently told stories and poems that they had written themselves or retold their favourite stories. There was a funny book called I Yam a Donkey by 3A, a poem about Dogman by 3B, a rendition of I Want My Hat Back and The Day the Crayons Quit by 3C and the final performance was a story from Dork Diaries by 3D. They were all very impressive! We were so proud of the children who took part and their peers who made up the audience. It takes courage to stand up and perform in front of your friends and the year 3 children performed excellently!
