Over the holiday period, a great deal of work took place on campus to further enhance our learning environment. We are particularly excited about the new Canopy Physical Development space in EYFS, which has been thoughtfully designed to support children’s physical development. This area will help develop both gross and fine motor skills, while also encouraging teamwork, collaboration, confidence, and active play in a safe and engaging environment.

We have also introduced a new turnstile secure entry system for secondary students, staff, parents, and visitors. This enhancement strengthens campus security, and we will be sharing more detailed information about its use very soon. Please note that all students and staff will need their school ID card to access the system. If an ID card has been misplaced, a form will be sent out shortly for completion so that a replacement can be issued.

Some of our students have already been back on campus taking part in examinations. These have been running smoothly so far, thanks to the dedication, focus, and hard work of both our students and staff. We wish all students continuing with exams the very best over the coming weeks.

Finally, thank you to those who have already completed the Parent Pulse Survey, which was sent out earlier this week. If you have not yet seen it, please do check your junk or spam folder. We truly value your feedback and hope that all parents will take this opportunity to share their thoughts on the school and how we can continue to be even better.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support. We wish everyone a positive and successful start to the term.

Should you wish to contact your child’s Class Teacher(s) or Form Tutor directly, we encourage communication to be written in the language you most feel confident to use.
Parents may also find it useful to contact their child’s class teacher(s) or form tutor directly for all individual queries about their academic work/social and emotional wellbeing in school. Individual contact details can be found in the Parents’ Handbooks or via our Primary/Secondary Receptionists.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our students remains the number one priority at BVIS HCMC.
Should you have a concern for the welfare of any child in our school, please refer to our Safeguarding poster below:
