AI is transforming learning – and how schools should prepare students for an AI-driven world. With answers just a click away, the future isn’t just about what children know, but how they think.

For our students in Grade 14, the last few weeks have been marked by dedication, effort and a sense of achievement.

Contrary to popular belief, intelligence isn’t, in fact, the number one driver of academic achievement. It’s actually self-confidence.

On 9 May, the Collège Champittet Foundation invited our community to a charity dinner held at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne. Dedicated to supporting children with severe burns and their families in the wake of the tragedy in Crans-Montana.

With his permission, I would like to share some insights from a Champittet dad, INSEAD Professor Horacio Falcao, during his recent Graduation Ceremony speech.

May was full of nature and outdoor learning for our primary students at Collège Champittet. From Grades 1 to 4, our students enjoyed a variety of excursions that mixed art, science, animals and environmental discovery.

Our Champittet students took learning beyond the classroom in May with a stimulating variety of school trips. From outdoor exploration to cultural immersion and reflections on faith, these trips enabled our students to discover new frontiers and experiences.

School holidays are the perfect time to try something new – a new sport, a new hobby, a new talent! Over the Easter break, some of our students had the chance to do just that by joining one of our Holiday Clubs.

A few words about our campus, which has never looked more beautiful than it does in May 2026

At Collège Champittet, we know that health and wellbeing are essential to academic success. Sleep – both quality and amount – matters. Healthy sleep plays a central role in helping students thrive. Even so, this vital need is often overlooked in busy daily routines.

At Collège Champittet, we believe that student wellbeing is the foundation for success. For students to achieve their best academically, they need to feel supported to excel – and that includes learning in an environment that supports mental and physical wellbeing.

After months of preparation, it was finally time for our students in Grades 9 and 10 to show off their originality and problem-solving skills at our Champittet STEAM Fair.

After the Easter break, we were thrilled to welcome our primary students back to Collège Champittet with our Earth Week celebrations, bringing together lessons in nature and sustainability.

As an exercise in logic, concentration and creativity, chess holds useful lessons for players of all ages – something our own students at Collège Champittet know from experience.

In March, students and boarders in Grades 7 to 12 enjoyed one of Collège Champittet’s most beloved traditions: our annual Ski Camp. For four magical days, our students explored the snowy peaks of Fiescheralp, a Swiss mountain resort in Valais.

At Collège Champittet, we believe that helping students reflect on their future goals and how to achieve them is key to preparing them for a successful future.

Collège Champittet is committed to educating the leaders of tomorrow: global citizens who will know how to act in a world that is constantly changing, and who have a firm sense of social purpose.

A school community like Champittet may sometimes suffer together, but it always stands together.

The arrival of spring is a wonderful time for our young learners to take a break from daily routines and explore the world.

The recent Swiss Maturité examinations demonstrated exceptional resilience among our students and teachers. After the tragedy in Crans-Montana, many were unable to even consider sitting the exams, which were due to begin two weeks later. Still in shock and dismay, they were unable to concentrate on their revision and feared facing the stress of exams that were crucial for their university admissions.
