In 2026–2027, we’re thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Champittet’s Cultural Season!

The range of school trips and excursions on offer today is infinitely greater than it was in my day. As a pupil at Champittet from 1976 to 1982, I particularly remember our trips to the Hospice du Grand-Saint-Bernard, to stay with the chanoines.

Learning a language is one thing. Learning in a language is another. That distinction is at the heart of bilingual education.

In September, our Secondary students set off for eight destinations across Europe as part of a highly anticipated Champittet tradition : the Cultural Trips.

We are honoured to welcome political essayist and novelist Giuliano da Empoli on 27 October 2026 as part of our “Grandes Conférences” series.

One year since its launch, our House System was created to strengthen connections across our school. Every student from Preschool to Grade 9 at Collège Champittet belongs to one of our four Houses: Wolves, Bears, Eagles and Lynxes.

During the Morges literary festival Le livre sur les quais, we’re proud to share that our Swiss Maturité students in Grades 11 to 13 presented works of their own creation. As I begin my 12th school year at Champittet, it is always a joy to be reunited with our pupils and our colleagues. The theme for the 2026–2027 academic year will be ‘languages & cultures’, a key strength of the Champittet community.

The holidays are the perfect time for children to follow their passions and explore new experiences. At Collège Champittet, our Holiday Club camps give children the opportunity to do just that, no matter what your child loves to do best.

When school ends for the summer holidays, the work continues at Collège Champittet to deliver the best learning experience for our students. Every year, we undertake a range of renovation and development projects to keep our campus modern, welcoming and fit for the future.

Before welcoming our students back to Collège Champittet, our teachers and staff gathered for several days of learning, collaboration and connection, paving the way for a successful academic year ahead.

As the summer holidays approach, I would like to express my gratitude to the teaching staff. The demands of their profession have changed considerably: there is increasing neurodiversity amongst the student body, as well as new technologies and evolving expectations from parents and the school management.

With our beautiful forest – home to our beloved Forest School – on the shores of Lake Geneva, our historic Collège Champittet campus is an exceptional place for students to learn, explore and grow.
