Dear parents,
A long and exciting term is coming to an end and the well-earned holidays are just a few days away, time for me to inform you about a few exciting changes at our school.
I am delighted to inform you about our extension of the German program. Starting in August 2015, German speaking students, who finished either GK4 or Year 5, can participate in lessons in German and math in their mother tongue according to a German curriculum, while at the same time being students of a Year 6 class. Students taking part in that program will be regular students of the international Primary School section of BSB. This initiative provides a fantastic bridge between the international school and the German arm of BSB, further strengthening the link between the two curricular offers.
Also from August 2015 on, a bilingual Reception class will be added to our already very successful EYFS program. This group will be taught in both English and German and is open to all interested families.
If you have any questions regarding both programs, please feel free to contact me or Mrs. Riedl, Head of German, at any time.
I wish you and your families relaxing holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015.
Warm Regards,
Phil Allman, Head of Primary School
