Message from the Principal – URGENT INFORMATION REGARDING SCHOOL INSPECTION
As you may be aware, arrangements have been made for our school to be inspected by the UK based Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Although this is a voluntary inspection which overseas schools are not required to undertake, we believe it is very important to be judged, verified and accredited by an organisation which is itself approved by the UK Government Inspectorate, OFSTED. The Independent Schools Inspectorate is the inspection service which inspects the majority of the best independent schools in the UK, and abroad. We look forward to using this process of inspection to help benchmark our school against the best in the world, and to identify areas where we can develop even further.
The inspection will take place from Tuesday 7 to Friday 10 October. A crucial part of this process is gathering the views of parents and students through a confidential questionnaire.
May I please ask you to complete this questionnaire – it is not a very time-consuming process and it is very important that the views gathered are truly the views of all our parents, as partners in their children’s education. Too often, it is only those parents who have the strongest views, positive or negative, who respond and this does not necessarily represent the views of the majority.
Details of how to respond to the questionnaire are in the letter below, and the questionnaire will remain open until Friday 26 September inclusive. A separate questionnaire will be completed anonymously by students in the coming week.
May I thank you in advance for your support in helping us with this very important part of our school self-evaluation process.
With best wishes
